Israel Research Institutes
Myers-JDC Brookdale Institute
Crucial research in five key social fields—aging, health, immigrant absorption, disability, and children and youth—is conducted by the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute, a partnership of JDC, the Government of Israel, and the David and Inez Myers Foundation. As the premier center for applied social research serving Israel and the Jewish world, the Institute’s findings provide social policymakers and practitioners with empirical data on the scope and causes of given social needs, the effectiveness of existing services to address those needs, and how well newly developed approaches are working.
Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel
The Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel is an independent social think tank devoted to monitoring social and economic developments in Israel and providing viable policy recommendations for decision makers in social policy fields. Its analyses are used to promote dialogue among government officials, field professionals, academics, and businesspeople on how to improve responses to social challenges facing Israel in the areas of economics, education, health, and social welfare.
